I grew up in a home where art was part of daily life. In early childhood my dad, a professional artist, passed on a love for the creative process, while my mom showed me the beauty of living with respect, faith and kindness. At BYU–Idaho I studied art & design under Leon Parson, Robert Barrett, Richard Hull, and Ralph Barksdale.
For more than two decades, my full-time focus was raising five children and supporting my husband through medical school and beyond. Alongside that, I occasionally took on projects in advertising, real estate development, and home improvement...work that kept my creative side active in different ways.
Now that my children are moving into new chapters of their own, I’ve returned to fine art with a fresh perspective. My paintings reflect family, faith, resilience.
When I paint, I’m not just chasing an image.  I’m reaching for meaning. Each brushstroke steadies my faith, reminding me that even in low and hollow moments, color can return. The canvas becomes a place where shadows soften, where hope slips quietly back in, and where I find myself lifted by the very act of creating.
My art is shaped by the belief that beauty can bridge heaven and home.
